Written for Jr. High and high school students, Phantom Pilot is based on the actual experiences of American POWs in Hanoi and gives an accurate picture of the treatment they received at the hands of their North Vietnamese captors. Younger readers might find the action a bit too intense, and for that reason it is suggested that parents read it first.
Phantom Pilot honors those who have served in the military to maintain our freedoms. It is a story of courage and patriotism, forgiveness and restoration, faith and hope.
